Congratulations on taking the next step to take your quilting skills to the next level! In the Advanced Course "Deepen Your Love of Quilts" I will show you how to improve your skills and master complex patterns and techniques.


With a combination of detailed instructions, video tutorials and personal feedback, we ensure that at the end of the course you can pursue your hobby confidently and creatively.

'Deepen Your Love of Quilting' is a comprehensive patchwork and quilting course for advanced beginners, covering a variety of challenging techniques and block patterns to learn brand new methods and improve your skills.


After receiving your feedback, I realized how much you love this most beautiful hobby in the world ;) and how much you want more input and knowledge about advanced patchwork techniques.


This inspired me to design a quilt pattern that includes 8 common patchwork blocks plus other techniques to create a perfect modern "sampler" style quilt.


The course is again a good opportunity to learn and practice in a structured and guided atmosphere.

8 weeks input

Over the next 8 weeks you will receive extensive instructional material that will teach you the different techniques of cutting, sewing and ironing.


Each module includes video tutorials to help you go through each step of block making in a precise and relaxed manner.

This course is about meeting people and sharing knowledge. My motto is to be there for you and help you improve your patchwork skills.


I will give you personal instructions and tips and show you techniques that I use in my own quilts.

Sewing pattern

In this course you will learn 8 different block patterns that you can use to make a quilt, pillow or table runner.


Together we work on each block step by step so that you can learn new skills in a relaxed and fun way.

I'd love to show you all the ways I've found to overcome the frustrations of block making.

  • What are the requirements to take this course?

    There are no special requirements for taking part in this course. The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced students, as all techniques and work steps are explained in detail. However, basic knowledge of sewing is an advantage.

  • How long does the course last? How often does it take place?

    The course lasts a total of 8 weeks and meets once a week. New lessons are published every week, which you can work through at your own pace. You will also have access to the materials and instructions after completing the course, so you can refer back to them at any time.

  • How do I access the course materials?

    At the beginning of May you will receive access to an online portal where you will find initial information. During the course, course materials, instructions, videos and worksheets will be available to you on a weekly basis. All you need is an internet connection and a computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone to access the portal. You can also download and print the materials.

  • What materials do I need for the course?

    For the course, you will need fabric, sewing thread, a sewing machine, cutting mats, cutting tools and irons. A detailed list of the materials and tools needed will be provided to you before the course starts. It is possible that you already have some of these materials and tools at home, but don't worry, the list also includes inexpensive alternatives in case you need them.

  • Can I take the course as a beginner or is it only suitable for advanced students?

    Yes, the course is suitable for both beginners and advanced learners. All techniques and steps are explained in detail and no special previous knowledge of sewing or patchwork is required. If you are a beginner, you will learn all the necessary basics and skills to successfully create the block patterns. If you already have experience, you can expand your knowledge and learn new skills.

  • How long do I have access to the course materials?

    After completing the course, you will continue to have access to all course materials, videos and instructions. You can view, download and print them at any time to improve your skills and continue your patchwork and quilting projects. You will have access to the course materials for at least one year.

  • Is there an opportunity to clarify questions or doubts during the course?

    Yes, you have the opportunity to ask questions at any time during the course. You can ask your questions in the online portal's discussion forum, contact me by email, or use the weekly live chat for your questions. I will do my best to answer your questions as quickly as possible so that you can continue learning and successfully complete your project.

  • How much time do I need to plan for each course week?

    The course lasts 8 weeks and it is recommended that you devote at least 3 hours per week to the course. The course materials and lessons are designed so that you can work through them at your own pace. You can watch the videos and tutorials at any time and complete the exercises and projects at your own pace.

  • What happens if I miss a class or have to drop out of the course?

    If you miss a lesson or have to interrupt the course, you can always access the course materials and catch up on the missed lesson at a later date. The course materials are available on the online portal and can be accessed at any time as long as you have access to the Internet.

I myself have experienced many moments on my quilting journey when I just wanted to drop everything and leave it alone. That's why I developed my course so that you can approach your patchwork and quilting projects with confidence and relaxation.
